Gamerscore Blog: Castlevania Symphony of the Night on Xbox Live Arcade

Okay, so this is probably my most favorite game of all time. The music, artwork, and gameplay dance around each other in this sort of tribal ménage à trois of complete and utter awesomeness. If you have an Xbox 360 and you’ve never played this game: download it immediately, quit your job, stockpile junk food, sell the kids and play it. It’s that good.

I await the post-apocalyptic day in which roving bands of video game hippies tour the country just to fight one boss — just to play one level — on antiquated Xbox 360s and PlayStations. People watching the gamers will shout out the quotes as if it was the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
